Room to Breathe

Work in progress, 2026 -

As seasons change, familiar places begin to feel different. Crowds thin, the light changes, and there is room to linger.

Room to Breathe explores my relationship with these changing spaces. I’m interested in how a place feels to inhabit, and how that feeling changes.

The project is still developing as I continue photographing and finding connections between the images.

Working in print

I’ve begun making test prints and a sample book to spend time with the photographs away from a screen. Working physically helps me explore their order, pacing and relationships as the project develops.

These are early studies, with the selection and sequence still evolving.

Unnatural

Concept in development, 2026 -

The interaction between wildlife and the places we build intrigues me.

Unnatural is an emerging photographic project exploring these encounters and the boundaries we draw around what we consider natural. Animals make use of spaces designed around our own needs.

I’m interested in moments when wildlife seems at home in our surroundings, and those where its presence feels unexpected.

The project is at an early stage, taking shape through continued observation and photography.
